Galatasaray President Özbek Files Criminal Complaint Against TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu
Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek announced that he has filed a criminal complaint against Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu. Özbek stated that Hacıosmanoğlu threatened him during a broadcast on TRT Sport, asserting that this threat should be considered directed toward the entire Galatasaray community.
Hacıosmanoğlu's statements have drawn criticism. In a press conference held in front of the Çağlayan Courthouse, President Özbek made significant remarks regarding TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu. He claimed that Hacıosmanoğlu threatened him during a TRT Sport broadcast, emphasizing that this threat was not only against him personally but also against the entire Galatasaray community. Özbek stated that such threats toward the Galatasaray president are unacceptable.
Continuing his statements, Özbek expressed confidence that the Turkish legal system would take the necessary steps in this matter. He pointed out that football should not have reached this level and stated that the current situation demonstrates the seriousness of the issue, expressing his belief that justice will prevail.

Responding to a question during the press conference about whether he trusts the Federation, Dursun Özbek openly expressed his distrust towards the Turkish Football Federation. He recalled that he had previously voiced his discomfort regarding this issue multiple times, stating that the federation does not inspire confidence.
Özbek remarked that football should be a unifying force across the country, but stated that the current situation presents a completely opposite picture. Emphasizing that his trust in the federation has been damaged, Özbek highlighted the importance of justice and neutrality in football.
